Welcome New RRR Design Team

It's hard to believe that it's time to announce our new Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings Design Team. Where did the last 6 months go?? First I want to thank our retiring design team members. We will miss them. Jan will be leaving us and Dawn will be leaving but hopping back each month for our Blog Hops.  They did a fantastic job and gave us tons of great ideas and inspiration. I encourage you all to visit their blogs and become a follower so you can continue to be inspired by their fantastic work.

I also want to thank everyone who applied for our new design team positions. There were so many awesome entries that it was very hard to select just 13 people. You'll find some familiar faces below and several brand new ones too.

So without further delay, please meet our new Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team.

We are thrilled to welcome new DT member Linda Abadie to the team.

Misty will also be back for another term with her terrific hair bow ideas and scrapbook pages.
Hi! I am Misty Willis...aka mommyof5kidz. I have been with Bonnie for 2 full terms now and I am thrilled and honored to be joining the team for a 3rd term. My love for ribbon has only grown more over the last year, and every single project I complete has ribbon on it somewhere. I love Really Reasonable Ribbon and the selection is magnificent...second to none. When I create with ribbon from Bonnie’s store, I am confident that the quality is superior...and that my projects will be durable and able to be passed down to my own children in time. Bows, hair accessories, home decor projects and wearable art are just a few of my favorite things to add ribbon to. I am also an avid scrapbooker and starting to dabble with making cards. I am so excited to be embarking on another term with this magnificently talented team!  Stop by my blog Mommy of 5 Kidz to see some of my work.

Emily is also returning for a second term with her fun scrapbook creations.
Hey everyone!  My name is Emily Lanham and I reside in Southern Ohio with my childhood best friend who doubles as my husband, Brandon, and my 3 year old daughter Reagan. I've been scrapping for as long as I can remember but I really made it a hobby about 6 years ago.  I slowly became a collector of all things scrapbooking (especially ribbons, paper and stamps!). I rarely scrap my own layouts but I do enjoy making cards and mini albums for others (and some of those for myself on occasion!).  I really like making things from items that I can find around the house such as: toilet paper rolls, food boxes, paper lunch bags, and all kinds of other found objects that I can alter!  I am very excited to be a part of this fabulous team!  I hope I can inspire you all along the way! You can see more of my work on my blog at http://www.createserendipity.net.

My name is Judith (Judy) Rozema. I live in Central Nebraska, in Cornhusker country, and have been married for 30 years. I have a daughter who is a freshman in college, and a married son who is a pastor and lives in North Carolina. Two dogs (labs) and a 17 year old water turtle round out our family.
During the school year, I am a part-time elementary music teacher. When I'm not stamping, I enjoy watching movies, crocheting, and junk jaunts! You might know me on Splitcoaststampers as StampingQueenJAR. My blog is
Joy in a JAR and I hope you will stop by for a visit!  I am thrilled and delighted to be a part of the Really Reasonable Design Team!

And now for our Special Events Designers who will join us for Monthly Blog Hops and some other fun activities.

I'd like to welcome Debbie Seyer on as a new RRR Special Events DT member.
My name is Debbie Seyer and I live in a small town just south of St. Louis, Missouri. I am a stay-at-home mom to three beautiful girls and have been married to my High School sweetheart, Keith, for 20 years. My paper crafting journey started when our whole family went to Disney World in 1996. I started scrapbooking and finally found a hobby where I could actually complete my projects. In 2000, a friend invited me to a rubber stamping home workshop and I fell in love with cardmaking. I feel that none of my projects are complete without ribbon! I am proud to say that I have been published multiple times in paper crafting and scrapbooking magazines. Besides paper crafting, I help with Funeral Luncheons at our church, help with Girl Scouts and am the taxi driver to a variety of musical instrument lessons for my girls. My hubby and I love to take our girls camping and exploring, watch movies and play board games.  Visit me at my blog A Peek Into My Stamping Room.

Teachers Change World

Hi everyone!  I hope you guys are all having a great weekend.  I have card to show you today that would be great for Teacher Appreciation or end of the school year.

I cut the tag shape from the Cricut Catridge Lacy Labels and the silhouette from A Child's Year.  The pattern paper is from DCWV - Grade School Stack.   This pretty light blue twill ribbon matches the paper perfectly.   This twill ribbon is one of my absolute favorites....the bows always tie so perfectly.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Sweet Little Keychain

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend so far! It's Emily here with a fun & quick little weekend project to share!
I had a little chipboard keychain laying around and I decided to alter it for my daughter. Hmmm... I was thinking a chipboard keychain might not last long in my purse, however, it looks beautiful laying on a table or hanging on a wall!
I added some bright pretty ribbons to the chain for the perfect finishing touch! I just love all of the bright colors!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Another Fun Fold Card

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with another Fun Fold Card for Really Reasonable Ribbon. Today's Fold is a Z Card Fold. On my card I used several different ribbons, trims and laces from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Z fold Card 6 x 17" long
I love making different card folds.  They are super fun and super cute.  I love this one since it has different scenes on it. For the front of my card I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's Pink Satin in 2 different sizes. I also used the Moss Leaves Trim, and Noelle Lace.  For the big bow I used the Pink Double Ruffled edge ribbon. I also used Tilda, her bench, and Wild Orchid flowers. All direct links are listed here below :)
Ribbons Used:

Next you see Tilda and a CottageCutz magnolia Doily.  I figured I could add a stamp sentiment here or some writing.

In my next picture you can see the entire card open. I think it's neat to have the writing hidden, you see the tab in the back, well that pulls out for double sided writing, there is enough room to write on the front and the back of this pull tab panel.
close up of the front. I used the CottageCutz Picket Fence border die, and ran RRR Satin Pink through it.

Here on this page, I added Tilda's Tree, and Tilda Sitting. her bird, and some cloud die cut pieces. I stamped on them with SU! sentiments. All Tilda Stamps are from Michelle's Scrapbooking and More!

On my back page, I continued on with the Cottagecutz Picket Fence border, and then used the New CottageCutz window. Perfect for writing. I also added another Tilda and another Bird and cloud here.

Now you can see where the writing is hidden here. LOVE this!!! Also LOVE working with Really Reasonable Ribbon!!! Thank you Bonnie for everything and I'm super EXCITED to be designing for another term!!! I couldnt imagine life without RRR :) Its my FAVORITE!!!!

I want to say Thank you all for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments and support!!! Hope you all have a lovely day!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Guest Designer - Dina Kowal

Hi everyone - it's Dina from Mama Dini's Stamperia! How fun to be sharing at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today. I have been using ribbons from the store for the last few weeks and I am soooooo impressed with the quality of the products, and the service I received!

I have a few fun projects on my blog today, so I hope you'll stop by and see this card... (I love the feminine touch of this Sheer Ruffle Edge ribbon!).....and this card..... (I thought the rustic look of the Jute Ribbon would be a good pairing with a masculine image....)
I literally gasped when I saw the Turquoise/Brown Sheer ribbon I used on the card below - these are my 2 favorite colors, and what better way to tie together a beautiful color combination on a card than to have those colors together in the trim? Amazing.
I used several sets from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps to fill the focal panel of my card - You Tags, Butterfly Flourish, Vintage Postcard, and Friendship Script Background. The panel is watercolored using Derwent watercolor pencils. I masked the butterflies with a Sakura glaze pen so I could ink up the background more easily, and added some dimension with a Viva pearl pen.

I tied a double bow with my Bow Easy - love that little tool.

Thank you so much for inviting me to share!!

JOY

Good Morning everyone!
I am sooooo thrilled that Bonnie invited me to join the RRR Dt for a 3rd term!
I absolutely adore ribbon and Bonnie has the BEST selection ever.
She has so many styles, colors and varieties, that it is truly difficult to make an order without ordering one of EVERYTHING!
This last 4 months, I have been super busy and preoccupied with preparing taxes for other people.
CRAZY me thought it would be fun....NOT!!!!
You know what it was? It is NUTS!
However...when it was over and Bonnie sent me an e-mail telling me
"Happy April 18th"...
She definitely made me smile!
Bonnie is awesome and working for her is truly a Joy.
Hence...My card....

I used the Green Apple double ruffle ribbon tied in a bow to enhance this simple card.
I have never claimed to be a card maker...and Bonnie knows that...
I am a bow maker, a home decor maker, a scrap booker, and a lot more...but cards are not my specialty.   However, sometimes, a simple card says all that you need to say.

So, Thank you, Bonnie...You gave me "JOY"!!!!

Hope you all have a magnificent day!
Thanks for visiting us today!

New RRR DT Announcement and a Quick Card

Hello everyone.  Bonnie here with a quick card and our new RRR DT announcement.  First I'll share my card.

Yes, you can do Iris Folding projects using beautiful ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon instead of folded paper.  'Scrap-ribbon Alert'!!!  This is the perfect project to use up some of those little snippets of ribbon that you can't bear to part with.  So, dig out that iris folding book that's somewhere in the back of your bookshelf and give it a try.

Altered Baby Frame With Ribbon

Well Hello there!  How are you doing today? Great to see you here. Today I have a fun altered frame to share with you.I used so many Really Reasonable Ribbons and I couldn't be more delighted.

This is my finished project but you really can't appreciate it till you see how it started and what I added.

Oh yea, this is the baby frame I picked up during one of my junking trips.Cute? sure it is but really not my style at all.
Let me share how I changed this $1.00 find into a treasure.
The frame was pulled apart and each of the inside pieces were traced on the back of new papers and fussy cut out to put new clothes in my frame. The yellow isn't horrible on the frame but I wanted to tone down just a little. Decided to add a Brown Organza ribbon around the entire outside of the frame.I know you can see the Scor-Tape but you will see what I do to take care of that. I wanted to make sure my ribbon stays where I put it.

Don't these papers look better already? Bet you see one of my favorite laces? Well no altered project would be complete without some beautiful Amelia White Crochet Lace .
Well now I needed to finish off the outside of the frame and cover up my Scor-Tape under the sheer ribbon.
This Gingham Yellow 3/8 Inch  is just perfect and also to add bows in the inside on the hangars.
So let me share it all put together, I just love the Gingham Yellow 3/8 Inch ribbon especially the bow on the top.
I just popped a few pictures of my oldest daughter when she was a baby. She will love that I am once again sharing pictures of her...lol

Good Luck to everyone - I am looking forward to seeing the new team announced
Thanks for checking out my projects and always leaving such kind and appreciated comments.
